WHAT IS AXL?

The first issue of AXL tells the tale of a genetically enhanced humanoid axolotl. Escaping from the clandestine government lab that held him, now hunted by the very same agency. AXL seeks to uncover the shards of his past and the truth behind the mysterious visions that plague his mind.

Re-imagining the pages of Wonderverse, AXL #1 continues the dynamic story of a harrowing escape from captivity. We follow his quest to find the lead geneticist on the project, Andrea, his only hope for discovering the true nature of his own existence.
